Well, here’s a nice surprise. Worship Me just won the solo medalist award of excellence in horror from New Apple Literary! Apparently, some people like it.
As an indie author, your confidence is constantly riding high, and then bottoming out. And although I’m not writing to win awards, this is riding high. Oh, who am I kidding. I want awards! More awards! Accolades to pile so high I can climb them and live inside the clouds! Let them rain down upon me!… Sorry, I got away from myself for a second.
But, in all seriousness, a deep thanks to New Apple for the honour, and, of course, to HellBound Books for taking a chance on my debut novel.
